Guidewire (GW) DHIC Developer Specialist - 100% Remote Contract

Job Location: Regina, SK (100% Remote)

Description:

Guidewire (GW) DHIC Developer Specialist resource for a 2-month term with the option to extend. Services would be carried out remotely. The resource must be able to work during Saskatchewan business hours, 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in Guidewire Datahub technology and datahub model required
• Review of Data Hub extensions within SGIs GuideWire environment
• Assessment of documented requirements
• Recommendations for addressing technical debt, potentially removing extensions
• Accessing systems, DataHub, and documentation repository
• Identification of custom extensions through code and documentation review
• Provision of suggestions and mitigations for implementation, including naming standards

Necessary Skills & Experience:

• DataHub Expertise: Strong understanding of DataHub concepts/data models and its integration within GuideWire systems.
• Technical Analysis: Ability to analyze DataHub requirements within GuideWire setups and identify technical debt.
• System Navigation: Familiarity with navigating complex GuideWire systems and DataHub integrations.
• Code and Documentation Review: Experience in reviewing DataHub-related code and technical documentation within GuideWire environments.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Capability to propose effective solutions for optimizing DataHub implementations in GuideWire systems.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication of findings and recommendations related to DataHub and GuideWire integration.
• Attention to Detail: Thorough examination of DataHub code, configurations, and documentation within GuideWire setups.
• Naming Standards: Must have an understanding of naming conventions specific to DataHub and GuideWire for consistency and maintainability.
