Job summary

Brainhunter Systems Ltd. seeks a seasoned Guidewire Applications Developer & Technical Lead to act as an SME for Insurance programs, coordinating configuration and integration across PolicyCenter/BillingCenter.

The role requires 8+ years in Guidewire configuration/integration, ACE certification, and strong cloud/API experience. Leadership, solutions design, and stakeholder communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in configuration and/or integration with Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter.
• Certified in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration (ACE) or Guidewire Integration (ACE).
• Experience with cloud native APIs and integration points (REST, SOAP).
• Working knowledge of other suite applications (Duck Creek / Sapiens / Majesco / EIS OneSuite / Insurity) is an asset.
• Experience with ski release functionalities (Integration Gateway, App Events, Autopilot) is an asset.
• Experience in building and leading a development team.
• Hands-on experience in solutions design and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Guidewire applications within client programs.
• Configure/integrate Guidewire modules and lead development efforts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide design recommendations.

Job description

Hiring a Guidewire Developer (Hands-on Insurance / Financial Services domain experience + Guidewire Suite, Guidewire PolicyCenter, Policy Administration System (PAS), and Guidewire Application development, implementation, integration, and configuration). Preference will be given to candidates whose resumes clearly meet the required experience and requirements outlined below.

Requirement Summary

• Anticipated Start Date: 2 weeks from offer (pending background checks)
• Job Type: Contract Opportunity. Initial contract for 1 year, with good possibilities of further extensions.
• Work Style: Hybrid Work - 2 days per week in the office required.
• Work Hours: 40 hours/week, typically Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Contractor to work extra time or be on-call: Yes, may require support overtime as needed. Extra hours will be required to support implementations and go-live dates.
• Rate Cap: Up to $90/Hr. (on Incorp). The final compensation will be negotiated between the contractor and recruiter based on experience and engagement terms.
