Job summary

Derextechnologiesinc in Toronto is seeking an experienced Guidewire developer to lead Claim Center configuration and integration efforts. You will design and implement complex business rules using GOSU, manage data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable insurance solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Transactions, Job/batch configuration, Messaging, Web services, and external integrations, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and deployment

Qualifications

• Experience with GW ClaimCenter integration and CC configuration.
• Strong GOSU scripting experience.
• Database skills in SQL Server 2012 or Oracle 11g.
• Experience with code merging and release deployment planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical defects/tasks.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Hands-on experience in CC Configuration areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enhance design documents for product configuration (Field mapping, Data definition, rules).
• Understand product vision and technical solution architecture expectations.
• Demonstrate understanding of complex business rules in application development projects.
• Provide technical requirement analysis, detailed designs, and implementation for long-term maintenance of applications.
• Configure and develop Guidewire Claim Center components using GOSU, PCF, Data Model, GX Model, Workflow.
• Work on third-party integrations for ClaimCenter, including XML/JSON messaging and web services.
• Utilize Jenkins, Git, TFS, and code quality tools (SonarQube) for CI/CD and code reviews.
• Identify reusable configuration components to improve efficiency.
• Create WBS from User stories and contribute as an individual contributor on ClaimCenter config and integration.
• Ensure code follows architecture standards and participate in sprint acceptance and release deployments.
