Allstate Canada is seeking a Guidewire ClaimCenter Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise insurance solutions with strong integrations and digital services. You will work in XP-driven Agile teams, performing pair programming, test-driven development, and continuous delivery to build scalable, resilient, high-quality systems.

The role requires hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration, Gosu development, Integration Gateway use, REST/SOAP web services, messaging frameworks, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience delivering solutions on Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Guidewire Certified Associate.
• Experience with Guidewire integrations, including REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Integration Gateway applications, message queues and batch processing.
• Familiarity with source control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Guidewire ClaimCenter integrations using REST/ SOAP web services, Integration Gateway, and batch processes.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers to create scalable solutions.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and drive architecture and integration strategies.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
