I8IS - Infiniti Software Solutions in Markham, ON is seeking a Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer/Lead to drive integration solutions and cloud transformation initiatives. The role focuses on Guidewire Cloud capabilities to enhance Claim workflows.

Responsibilities include designing diagrams, coding, reviews, and mentoring the team while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust integration solutions. Requires Guidewire certifications and extensive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Development.
• Expertise in GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins.
• Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.
• Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance.
• 5+ years of Guidewire development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with coding Gosu Language.
• Experience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON.

Responsibilities

• Build technical diagrams / design documents.
• Write programs, configure / package / deploy software.
• Perform peer code reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and implement functional requirements and integrations with external systems.
• Ensure standard methodologies are followed in code development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Consult on technical aspects of Guidewire upgrades and patches.
• Resolve and address complex technical issues promptly.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality.
