Job Description:

1. Guidewire Experience – Must Have Agency Billing Module Exposure

  • Minimum 7–12 years of Guidewire experience, with at least 3 years focused on Guidewire Claim Center configuration/integration.
  • Experience with the Guidewire Agency Billing module is critical and non-negotiable – candidates without this will not be considered.
  • Recent hands-on development in Claim Center and implementation expertise is required.

2. Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Guidewire Claim Center development (Gosu programming, configuration, and integration).
  • Strong understanding of policy/claim/billing workflows and lifecycle.
  • Cloud experience preferred (AWS, Azure).
  • Bonus: Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle, MongoDB.

3. Solution Design & Implementation

  • Lead or contribute to architectural design, high-level/detailed technical design, and estimation.
  • Create configuration packages and deliver Claim Center functionality aligned to business use cases.
  • Understand Guidewire product models and implement scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps across time zones.
  • Ensure smooth delivery through Agile practices including peer code reviews, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advocate for reducing technical debt and maintaining clean code.
  • Mentor junior developers and support team growth through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead technical discussions, provide constructive feedback, and guide the team through implementation challenges.
  • Ability to conduct technical interviews and support hiring efforts as needed.
