Job Summary
We are looking for team members with excellent people skills who are highly organized and have a passion for the outdoors and recreation. The best Guest Service representatives have strong communication skills, patience, and a drive to make a difference for our visitors. Job tasks are varied by the day and season and include booking programs, passes, tickets and other activities. This customer service department is fast paced, demanding but fun.
Essential Job Functions:
-Responsible for responding to guest inquiries, resolving guest concerns and making recommendations during the purchase of guest experience passes
-Process sale transactions via cash, credit and debit, balance floats and complete close-out procedures
-Drive the sales of products by achieving or exceeding sales targets
-Knowledgeable about our products, services and promotions
-Answer inbound phone calls, make outbound sales calls, identifying and resolving caller needs, and providing information through our on-site Call Center
-Assist with off-site events and marketing/sales initiatives
-Maintain sales records and files and ad hoc reporting as needed
-Maintain basic housekeeping standards, ensuring the Guest Services offices and washroom facilities are cleaned/sanitized and well presented
-Performing all other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Manager, Guest Services and does not require any direct supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualification and Abilities:
-A minimum of one (1) year in customer service preferred
-Experience handling transactions via cash, credit and debit an asset
-Previous call center experience an asset
-Secondary Language skills an asset (Spanish and Mandarin preferred)
-Must be personable, friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills
-High energy and a strong work ethic
Hours of Operation:
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
18.90 to $22.11/hour
