Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our opening team as a full-time Guest Services Attendant at Nobu Hotel Toronto.

As the Guest Services Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience. This position requires a friendly, outgoing, and helpful individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. The Guest Services Attendant will handle a variety of guest-related tasks, ensuring smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guest Assistance:
  • Handle guest requests and inquiries with efficiency and grace.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, including directions, local information, and hotel amenities.
  • Assist guests with luggage, packages, and other belongings.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
  • Provide concierge services, such as making reservations, arranging transportation, and recommending local attractions.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures as needed.
  • Valet Parking:
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles, adhering to all traffic regulations and hotel parking procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized parking area.
  • Provide guests with clear instructions regarding vehicle retrieval.
  • Communication & Coordination:
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Relay messages and information to guests and fellow team members.
  • Maintain a log of guest requests and activities.
  • Other Duties:
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a guest services role or valet parking role is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmissions(preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry luggage, and walk between parking areas.
