Job description

The Days Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown is seeking a new member to join the Front Office Team. We have a permanent position open for a Part Time Night Auditor. The successful applicant will be available to work a minimum 2 Night Audit shifts (11pm – 7am) per week with the flexibility to cover additional Night Audit shifts when necessary, and 2 to 3 afternoon shifts per week (3pm – 11pm) for a total of 32 to 40 hours per week. We are seeking a candidate with previous experience working Night Audit and someone who will be the right fit for our Front Office Team.

This job will consist of regular Night Audit shifts as well as evening shifts. All candidates are required to be available with out restrictions for evenings, weekends and overnight shifts.

Check In / Out – You will be responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, verifying reservation and payment details, ensure accurate information is recorded in the Property Management System (Opera Cloud), assigning rooms, attending to any special requests where possible while adhering to hotel policies.

Guest Services – You will be responsible for clear and accurate communications with the guest through various modes of communications such as telephone, email and the hotels other guest communication systems. The role requires adequate knowledge of the city, transit, attractions, restaurants as well as the hotel so that you may assist guests with their requests.

Reservations – Ensure accurate entry of reservations details and clear communication with the guest.

Customer Satisfaction – You will always be ready with a smile to greet customers, and attend to any issues that may arise, collaborating with Supervisors to ensure guest satisfaction.

Night Audit tasks include the above, as well as reviewing and adjusting daily transactions, reconciling accounts and preparation of daily reports using Spreadsheets, the Property Management System and other office related equipment as well as overseeing the general security of the hotel

You will also be required to collaborate with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance via internal communication systems.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $21.65-$26.25 per hour
