Shift: 7 PM - 12 AM

The Guest Services Attendant plays a critical role within our communities, impacting residents' lives and fostering human connection.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure daily neatness and cleanliness of residents’ rooms, offices, and common areas, including furniture, closets, windows, walls, floors, shower and tub rooms, washrooms, reception area, and break rooms.
  2. Perform cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance duties such as routine, deep, terminal, and discharge cleaning, floor maintenance, and waste management according to schedules.
  3. Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents using infection control principles.
  4. Check that supplies are adequate and equipment is functioning properly before starting daily routines.
  5. Perform duties professionally within a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Carry out other duties as assigned.
Must Haves:
  • Secondary school diploma or approved equivalent.
  • Knowledge of infection control, cleaning practices, housekeeping operations, and equipment.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in institutional cleaning or laundry in a long-term care setting is desirable.
