Guest Services Agent

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Guest Services Agent! The primary role of the Guest Service Agent is to provide our hotel guests with a positive first and last impression, along with exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Service Agent will:

  1. Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor with guests and team members
  2. Adhere to all company and brand standards
  3. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, create and cancel reservations
  4. Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally
  5. Review logs and emails daily, complete checklists
  6. Operate front desk telephones and be familiar with daily rates
  7. Balance and prepare shift paperwork according to hotel standards
  8. Coordinate with hotel departments and handle guest requests
  9. Manage guest registration, room assignments, and special requests
  10. Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience, preferably in hotel front desk roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel; experience with Maestro or Opera is a plus
  • Ability to work flexibly in a busy environment
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills
  • Friendly, energetic, professional appearance
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada
