Guest Services Agent

We are currently looking for a part-time Guest Services Agent! The primary responsibility of the Guest Service Agent is to provide our hotel guests with a positive first and last impression, as well as exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, the Guest Service Agent will:

  1. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times with guests and team members
  2. Comply with all company and brand standards
  3. Interact with guests during check-in and check-out
  4. Create and cancel reservations, handle check-ins and check-outs
  5. Greet incoming and outgoing calls professionally and promptly
  6. Review logbook and emails daily, complete all tasks on the checklist
  7. Maintain proper operation of front desk telephones and be familiar with daily sell rates
  8. Balance and prepare shift paperwork according to hotel standards
  9. Coordinate with all hotel departments
  10. Handle guest registration, room assignments, and special requests
  11. Process check-ins and check-outs following hotel policies
  12. Resolve customer complaints and assist with inquiries about hotel services and local attractions
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
What We Are Looking For...
  • Customer service experience, preferably at a hotel front desk
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel; Maestro or Opera experience is an asset
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and capable of working in a busy environment
  • Self-motivated with problem-solving skills and ability to complete projects independently
  • Friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, professional appearance
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
