Job summary

Americana Conference Resort & Spa in Canada is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain immaculate guest rooms and public areas, ensuring guest comfort and safety at all times.

The role requires basic literacy in English, a Grade 10 education, and the ability to prioritize tasks while providing courteous service to guests. This is a full-time position with duties as described by the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications

• Must be able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail is essential for cleaning and maintaining rooms.

Responsibilities

• Collect assigned rooms and perform other duties as required.
• Vacuum carpets, floors and upholstery.
• Clean, dust, and polish guest rooms.
• Make guest beds and change bed linen.
• Clean guest room bathrooms as required.
• Remove and replace used towels.
• Restock guest rooms with amenities, including toiletries and coffee.
• Ensure TVs, radios, lights, alarm clocks and A/C are in working order.
• Report maintenance issues to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Turn over lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Clean public areas, including restrooms.
• Maintain a pleasant and courteous manner with guests.
• All other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
