Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the dining kitchen, supervise back of house staff, and drive operational excellence at the Domestic Departures terminal, YVR Airport. You will manage daily kitchen operations, uphold food safety, and ensure high guest satisfaction while controlling costs and maintaining standards.

The role reports to the General Manager and requires 3-5 years of kitchen leadership, a ServSafe certification, and the ability to coach a team in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing back of house operations in a restaurant or production kitchen environment.
• ServSafe Food Manager’s Certification.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, Microsoft Office, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead back of house operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff; develop bench strength and succession plans.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and food safety standards; ensure cleanliness and presentation.
