Job description

What perks can you expect?

The wage for this role is $17.40 hourly. A full breakdown of perks and wages will be provided during the interview process. This role is posted for our Summer/Fall 2025 Season.

Overview

As a Guest Experience Guide, you will ensure guests receive accurate information about the Flyover experience and leave with a memorable impression. Your responsibilities include managing ticketing and entry, guiding guests safely and efficiently throughout the attraction, and creating a fun environment for guests and team members. Representing a popular Vancouver attraction, you should always maintain a positive, guest-first attitude.

What will you do in this job?

Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisors and Manager, your duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting guests and answering questions positively
  • Providing accurate information and setting proper expectations
  • Taking and editing guest photos, knowing about photo packages and backgrounds
  • Handling cash transactions and retail duties
  • Organizing guest queues and managing wait times
  • Guiding guests around the attraction and assisting with gondola boarding
  • Ensuring safety protocols are followed and reporting concerns
  • Using radio communication effectively
  • Assisting with emergency evacuations following safety plans
  • Having knowledge about Vancouver and nearby attractions
  • Performing various tasks as needed
What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Extensive knowledge of Vancouver and the surrounding area
  • Experience in tourism or hospitality
  • Cash handling and public speaking skills preferred
  • Knowledge of a second language is an asset
  • FoodSafe Level 1 or equivalent certification preferred
  • Serving It Right certification or equivalent is an asset
