Job summary

Flyover Attractions is seeking a dedicated Custodian in Vancouver to help keep our venue clean, safe, and welcoming for every guest. You will perform routine cleaning, assist with facility upkeep, and support safety and maintenance across guest and team areas.

This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and reliability. The position offers an hourly CAD wage and a varied shift pattern, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or light maintenance is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a consistently high level of energy.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and facility upkeep across guest and team areas in accordance with established cleaning schedules and standards.
• Complete and maintain cleaning checklists, maintenance logs, and related documentation accurately and consistently.
• Manage garbage collection areas and support recycling practices to maintain clean, organized, and efficient waste‑management areas.
• Perform minor painting, plumbing, and general facility upkeep as required.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout Ride areas and respond to facility maintenance needs and incidents as they arise.
• Monitor, organize, and maintain adequate inventory levels of custodial and facility supplies.
• Support other departments with supply retrieval, daily setup, closing activities, and general facility needs.
• Support preventative maintenance activities to help maintain the condition, reliability, and overall presentation of the facility.
• Receive, organize, and transport deliveries both on‑site and off‑site as required.
• Provide professional assistance to guests and respond to general questions regarding Flyover and Canada Place
• Maintain awareness of current and upcoming events at Flyover and Canada Place to effectively support guests and daily operations
• Other duties and projects as assigned
