Your daily pursuit is creating a welcoming environment for guests by providing a seamless, safe, and enjoyable experience.

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this role is $18.00 per hour.

What will you do in this job?
  • Ensure high levels of customer service for each guest.
  • Be prepared for a fast-paced work environment with changing conditions.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Greet and welcome all Lake Minnewanka guests; answer emails and phone calls.
  • Coordinate tour boat departures; operate radio communication hub.
  • Operate all POS systems for bookings, ticketing, and retail; handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Understand and promote all products, services, and policies offered by Pursuit BJC.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked retail floor.
  • Sustain a safe environment in all areas controlled by Lake Minnewanka Cruise.
  • Participate in efforts to keep all areas of Minnewanka clean and wildlife safe.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and clear-headed in any situation.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Second language skills are an asset.
  • Consent to a criminal record check to uphold our commitment to “Always Honest”.
