Job summary

Nolinor Aviation in Mirabel, QC is seeking a GSE mechanic to handle daily and preventive maintenance of ground service equipment, including utility vehicles, tow tractors, forklifts, and more.

You will inspect, repair, and modify equipment, diagnose issues with manuals and test gear, and plan preventive maintenance schedules, while keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Qualifications

• DEP in automobile mechanics or similar field.
• 5 years of experience repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and diesel/gas engines.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Welding knowledge is an asset.
• Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Job description

Nolinor is looking for a GSE mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily maintenance and preventive maintenance of all ground service equipment.

• Inspect, maintain and repair ground support equipment (i.e., utility vehicles, passenger bus, tractor to tow aircraft, forklifts, etc.);
• Modify and/or adapt ground support equipment;
• Diagnose problems using applicable manuals and test equipment;
• Plan and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule;
• Keep work area clean and organized;
• Perform any other related duties.
• DEP in automobile mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, agricultural equipment mechanics or similar studies;
• 5 years of relevant experience in repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment as well as diesel and gasoline engines;
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
• Knowledge of welding is an asset;
• Good knowledge of English, both oral and written (to communicate with our various bases and understand the documentation);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel;
