Job summary

Desjardins in Canada is seeking a life and health insurance financial security advisor to serve and grow member and client relationships across multiple channels. You will promote life and health products and provide tailored solutions based on client needs.

You will analyze client needs, ensure service quality, travel to Rivière-du-Loup service centers as required, and work Monday to Friday with two evenings per week; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• AMF damage insurance certificate.
• French language is required.
• Willingness to travel to Rivière-du-Loup centers.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Work Monday to Friday, including two evenings per week.

As a life and health insurance financial security advisor, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell life and health insurance products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. Your focus areas include individual insurance, group insurance and retirement savings plans, insurance brokerage, segregated funds, travel insurance and life and health insurance claims settlement. You help promote and sell financial security products and services. The ability to communicate effectively and thoroughly understand clients' expressed needs is therefore essential. You help analyze member/client needs and develop personalized solutions. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures. You support current and potential members and clients. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You represent the organization and help negotiate agreements with clients. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:
