Job summary

Grimco, Inc. is hiring at its Toronto Branch for a Warehouse Associate. The role involves picking and packing orders, forklift operation, shipping/receiving, ERP data entry, and inventory control.

Training is available, with potential overtime and future supervisory duties. A safety-conscious attitude and bilingual abilities are advantageous. Located in Toronto, the position runs 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/shipping/receiving/general labour experience.
• Completed High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pick orders of sign supplies in preparation for shipping to customers.
• Load and unload delivery trucks both by hand and using a forklift.
• Operate forklift and order picker.
• Ship and receive orders using appropriate shipping software.
• Receive and examine incoming material for discrepancies/damages.
• Stock inventory when replenishment shipments come in.
• Accurately enter shipping and receiving data into ERP system.
• Use ERP system to track orders and answer questions for team members and customers.
• Assist couriers and delivery drivers with manifest information and work in order to maximize delivery efficiency.
• Perform accurate cycle counts of inventory.
• Perform duties using a safety-conscious attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned (cleaning/sweeping warehouse, maintenance, special projects, etc.).
