Fourwaves, the platform for academic conferences, is hiring a growth marketer who will own the organic acquisition number. You’ll work directly with the founder, sales and customer success, decide where to invest, and scale channels like search, AI answers, LinkedIn, YouTube, and nurture emails.
You should have 4+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, be fluent in English and French, write clearly, and turn data into decisions using HubSpot and analytics.
Fourwaves is the platform for academic conferences: event websites, abstract submission, peer review, registration, a conference app and payments. Our clients are universities, scientific societies and associations, and research networks around the world. Our mission: supporting scientific events to break down the silos in research.
We’re a lean team of experienced people: 100% remote, bootstrapped, profitable and growing.
The growth marketer is the only marketing person on the team. You do the work yourself and you own one number: new customers who found us organically, through search, AI assistants, LinkedIn, etc.
Fourwaves grew mostly on word of mouth, and organic search and AI answers already bring in customers every week with no one dedicated to them. There’s a lot of room to grow: we don’t hold the top spots yet on the searches and AI answers that matter most, and channels like YouTube and segmented nurture emails have barely started.
No team to manage, no agency to brief. You work with the founder, sales and customer success. You decide where the effort goes: which channels, which bets, what to stop, and you adjust as results come in. The goal is ambitious: several times more customers finding us organically, not a few percent more.
Our stack: HubSpot, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Surfer SEO, and Claude Code on a marketing site we edit in minutes.
We’re a small company that moves fast, with real product-market fit and steady growth. Our customers are researchers: smart, kind, and genuinely glad when the software works well.
