Job description

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic sales plans targeting the leisure, entertainment, and transient travel segments
  • Establish and manage key relationships with travel partners, consortia, OTAs, tour operators, DMCs, and corporate travel accounts
  • Proactively source and convert new business opportunities across key markets, using tools such as Hotelligence and STR
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor performance, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and refine strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing, F&B, and events teams to align campaigns and activations with sales initiatives and brand goals
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads
  • Leverage industry partnerships within arts, culture, and entertainment sectors to enhance visibility and appeal
  • Develop sales presentations, manage RFP responses, and oversee account management for top clients
  • Create and manage revenue forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
  • Ensure seamless execution of promotional strategies, tracking ROI and adjusting tactics as needed
Requirements
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in hotel sales, with a strong focus on leisure, transient, entertainment, or consortia markets
  • Proven success in building and maintaining partnerships that drive revenue growth and client satisfaction
  • Excellent sales acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to close deals in a competitive environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts
  • Collaborative mindset with leadership qualities and a passion for guest experience
  • Knowledge of the Toronto hospitality and travel market is preferred
  • Passion for culture, hospitality, and innovation
