The Opportunity :

Under Sunwing Vacations , we are looking for a Group Sales Agent to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Group Sales Agent , you will be responsible for generating new sales, maximizing margins, maintaining the quality of files, and growing customer loyalty through service excellence. Professional, helpful, and friendly communications with customers is required, both written and by phone. Apply now and have your career soar to new heights - under our wing! The position reports to the Group Sales Supervisor and will be located in Toronto, ON .

What You’ll Do :

  • Respond to incoming calls and assist with product and service inquiries
  • Upsell and cross-sell on each call, using the key product and promotional information provided
  • Sell optional extras such as group seating, Elite Plus, excursions, gift certificates, and insurance
  • Respond to incoming emails pertaining to group rate requests in a professional, timely manner
  • Fill in for Group Sales Representative absences as directed by Supervisor
  • Maintain product knowledge and participate in ongoing training
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need :

  • Up to 1 year in customer service or related experience
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys working directly with customers
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Demonstrates initiative with problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, be flexible, reliable & prioritize workload
  • Experience with MS Office (email, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Soft Voyage TTS is an asset.
  • TICO certification is required when the position is offered.
