Who is a Group Fitness Instructor Trainee? The Group Fitness Instructor Trainee is responsible for learning how to provide a high quality, engaging and motivating experience, that includes safe, inclusive and enjoyable instruction and leadership for participants in all Group Experience classes. They do so by undergoing a live, virtual or self-directed training process, which may include completing pre- and post-training work, filming videos for assessment, etc., with the goal of attaining program certification by the end of the training process and becoming hired as a Group Fitness Instructor.
