GoodLife Fitness is offering a Group Fitness Instructor Trainee role in Kingston. The program combines live, virtual, and self-directed training to build skills in choreography, technique, coaching, connection and performance, with the goal of earning certification and becoming a Group Fitness Instructor.
Candidates complete pre- and post-training work, submit required videos for assessment, and demonstrate progress under GEDM supervision, aiming to join the instructor team upon certification.
The Group Fitness Instructor Trainee is responsible for learning how to provide a high quality, engaging and motivating experience, that includes safe, inclusive and enjoyable instruction and leadership for participants in all Group Experience classes. They do so by undergoing a live, virtual or self‑directed training process, which may include completing pre‑ and post‑training work, filming videos for assessment, etc., with the goal of attaining program certification by the end of the training process and becoming hired as a Group Fitness Instructor.
The selected candidate will start at a base wage of $17.60. The expected annual total compensation is $1,300 determined by the expected total number of hours to complete the certification.
