Job summary

Movati Athletic in Ottawa is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to deliver high-energy, safe, and engaging studio classes for all fitness levels. You will mentor members, maintain class flow, and contribute to a welcoming club atmosphere.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Fitness Instruction Specialist Certification; additional certifications are considered assets. The role offers competitive hourly wages and ongoing in-club training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a nationally recognized Fitness Instruction Specialist Certification is required.
• Additional certifications to teach specialized classes are assets.

Responsibilities

• Instruct challenging and enthusiastic group fitness classes for members of all levels.
• Ensure group fitness training methods conform to standardized Club training practices.
• Provide exceptional Group Fitness classes, programs and service to meet diverse needs of clients.
• Build and sustain relationships with new and existing Club members.
• Provide reliable Group Fitness class instruction by ensuring classes start and end on time and are covered.
• Create a fun and welcoming environment for all members.
• Seek feedback from class participants and share with Group Fitness Manager for program improvement.
