Job summary

Movati Athletic in Ottawa is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to deliver engaging classes and inspire members to reach their goals. You will coach participants across levels, maintain on-time class start/end, and contribute to a welcoming, energetic club atmosphere.

Role involves providing best-in-class service, keeping training practices aligned with club standards, and sharing participant feedback with leadership to improve programs over time.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related Group Fitness instruction experience
• Successful completion of a nationally recognized Fitness Instruction Specialist Certification
• Additional health and nutrition certifications are assets

Responsibilities

• Instruct challenging and enthusiastic group fitness classes for members of all levels
• Ensure group fitness training methods and techniques conform to standardized Club training practices
• Provide exceptional Group Fitness classes, programs and service to meet the diverse needs of new and existing clients
• Build and sustain relationships with new and existing Club members
• Provide reliable Group Fitness class instruction by ensuring that classes start and end on time, and all classes are covered consistently
• Responsible for creating a fun and welcoming environment for all members
• Proactively seek feedback from class participants and share feedback with Group Fitness Manager to continuously improve the program
