Who we are
We’re a Kelowna based Third Party Administrator/Payor (TPA/TPP) improving the health benefits experience for employers, insurers and, well, everybody! Our team leverages digital-focused strategies to provide members with fast, easy and thoughtful benefits experiences. To put it simply, we provide group benefits plans, but we’re a technology company first. What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a Group Benefits Jr. Underwriter to work full-time as part of our Insurance team. This role is a key resource in supporting the Sales and Service teams in meeting the needs of clients and other stakeholders while balancing our profitability and risk profile in partnership with our insurance carriers. Core duties of the Group Benefits Jr Underwriter include the delivery of quotes and proposals for new group sales, experience analysis and renewal reports for existing clients, and ongoing pricing analysis of plan-design amendments.
Who you are
A positive and results-driven individual who excels at providing superior client service and support. If you are interested in making insurance your career path, this is the perfect opportunity for growth: from providing benefit solutions and helping to retain existing clients to developing pricing strategies for renewals and new product introductions. This role is as creative as it is logical, so we’re looking for a unique individual who truly understands the importance of the art of underwriting.
What you’ll do
As a member of the Insurance team, you will be responsible for quotes, renewals and projects that help grow our book of business. You will collaborate with our leadership team to create new processes and workflows to continuously improve upon the experience that we deliver to our advisor community.
