Job summary

Edon is seeking Snow Removal and Landscape Workers in Edmonton to keep properties safe and well-maintained year-round. You will clear snow in winter and maintain landscapes in summer, often working outdoors and in small teams.

We provide safety-focused training, reliable equipment, and opportunities to develop skills in property and facility maintenance while contributing to clean, safe sites across Alberta.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or maintenance is an asset.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Strong customer care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal and landscaping duties such as shoveling, blowing, sweeping, mowing, trimming, and general grounds upkeep.
• Inspect building grounds regularly to ensure professional appearance and contract compliance.
• Plant, water, and maintain grass, trees, shrubs, and other greenery for healthy outdoor spaces.
• Help install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems and other outdoor equipment.
• Identify and report safety hazards or damages.
• Respond promptly to work requests or emergencies, especially during snow or storms.
• Represent Edon positively when interacting with clients, tenants, and subcontractors.
• Work safely, show initiative, and contribute to a team-focused environment.

Major Responsibilities

• Plant, water, and maintain grass, trees, shrubs, and other greenery to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive.
• Help install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems and other outdoor equipment.
• Watch for and report any safety hazards or damage that needs attention.
• Respond promptly to work requests or emergencies, especially during snow or storm events.
• Represent Edon positively when interacting with clients, tenants, and subcontractors.
• Work safely, show initiative, and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or maintenance experience considered an asset
• Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Strong customer care and communication skills
• Ability to operate small power equipment used in landscape maintenance
• Ability to work permanent hours, including early mornings, nights, weekdays, or holidays depending on weather and workload
