Description

As a key member of our operations team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the appearance and safety of our properties through all seasons. Major Responsibilities

  • Ensure all sidewalks, parking areas, common areas, and landscaping is clear of litter, and outdoor garbagereceptacles are emptied
  • Operate a variety of small equipment (lawn mower, trimmer, hedge pruner, skid steer, sweeper, blower, etc.)
  • Assist in irrigation system repairs and maintenance
  • Respond to service requests and emergencies
  • Portray a favourable image of the organization as a front-line contact with clients/tenants
  • Perform regular inspections of the building grounds to ensure curb-side appearance is in accordance with contract and Edon’s standards
  • Handle a variety of outdoor tasks including mowing, trimming, blowing, sweeping, shoveling, and snow removal
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous landscaping or maintenance experience considered an asset
  • Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer care and communication skills
  • Ability to operate small power equipment used in landscape maintenance
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
