Edon Management is looking for a Grounds Operations Supervisor to oversee our Landscaping and Grounds / Snow Removal services across various sites. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll guide a dedicated team, support day-to-day operations, and ensure all services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

From implementing seasonal maintenance schedules to conducting site inspections and identifying areas for improvement, you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts to deliver exceptional grounds services. You’ll work closely with Property and Operations Managers, support contractor performance, and help drive continuous improvement across our portfolio. You’ll also play a key role in supporting business growth—mentoring your team, developing new practices, and helping Edon expand its services across Alberta. What you will do?

  • Provide strategic oversight and day-to-day supervision for the Grounds and Snow Removal department, ensuring consistent training, support, and development at all levels
  • Promote and participate in business development initiatives to expand Edon’s grounds and snow removal services
  • Oversee and implement seasonal schedules, task lists, and tracking of additional work
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify grounds-related issues, opportunities for improvement, and ensure overall quality.
  • Supervise and assist with mechanical work on grounds equipment and operate a variety of tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, rakes, hedge trimmers, tillers).
  • Hire, evaluate performance, and oversee the grounds / snow removal team
  • Support Supervisors with staffing processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management
  • Provide training on best practices for grounds care and maintenance, including support for new site startups.

Who we are looking for?

  • Minimum five to seven years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Extensive knowledge of grounds / snow removal practices
  • Strong command of the English language (reading and writing)
  • Strong customer care, communication and client management skills
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team of staff to accomplish objectives
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
