Job summary

PetValu is seeking a dedicated Groomer to join their innovative team. This role allows you to operate under the PetValu brand while managing your own grooming salon, utilizing your creativity and expertise to provide exceptional service for pet owners. Ideal candidates will have professional grooming experience and a passion for animal care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year professional grooming experience.
• Ability to perform various grooming techniques for dogs and possibly cats.
• Experience with grooming services including bathing, drying, clipping, and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized grooming services to pets based on client instructions.
• Perform grooming techniques for a variety of dog breeds and potentially cats.
• Maintain focus on customer service and client relationships.

What you will bring to our team :

• A minimum of 1 year professional grooming experience
• Professional grooming techniques for a variety of dog breeds
• Grooming techniques for cats (based on location)
• Grooming services, including bathing, drying, clipping, hand scissoring, medicated and general cleansing, parasite control baths, pedicures, medicated dips, and ear cleansing, as requested for each pet
• Specialized grooming techniques varying depending on hair type, coat, breed, and owner instructions
• Adaptability and customer focus
• Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to increase clientele
