Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Grocery Associate in Kamloops, BC. You will deliver excellent customer service, keep the grocery area clean and organized, and support stocking and sales activities to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role involves maintaining department standards, rotating stock, proper signing/pricing, food safety, and flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Keeps the grocery department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
• Rotates merchandise regularly and removes expired or damaged products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Ensures merchandise is correctly signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
• Follows food safety, handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business by stocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking as required, applying product protection when needed, and setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workplace.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
