Job summary

JobsMedia.io is seeking an experienced meat cutter/butcher for a permanent full‑time role in Montreal. You will prepare and cut meats, supervise junior staff, and train new meat cutters. The position offers evening, morning, day, and weekend shifts and a comprehensive health plan.

Applicants should have a secondary school graduation certificate and 2+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of French is required to support local customers and operations.

• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in butchery or meat processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting.
• Cut carcasses, sides and quarters.
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
• Remove bones from meat.
• Cut poultry into parts.
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish.
• Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers.
• Train meat cutters.
