Job summary

Safeway in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a clerk to deliver outstanding customer service while keeping the workspace attractive and organized. You will enter and scan items, ensure accurate pricing, handle cash and other payments, balance the till, and support safe, efficient store operations throughout shifts.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a busy retail environment. This role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20kg as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keep work areas and uniform clean and well-maintained.
• Use equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
• Comply with established food safety and hygiene standards.
• Perform any other related duties.
