Eataly Sherway Gardens is hiring a Grocery Lead (Full-Time) to oversee stocking, merchandising and guest service on the retail floor. You will supervise associates, coordinate with the Warehouse, manage orders, and ensure accurate pricing and signage while upholding FIFO standards.

Availability to work onsite with nights and weekends is required. A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail leadership experience helps you excel in this role at Eataly.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder and cleaning supplies.

Responsabilités

• Stock, rotate and face products per department standards.
• Collaborate with Warehouse to maintain stock levels.
• Place orders and receive deliveries; verify invoices.
• Delegate tasks, supervise and train Grocery Associates.
• Maintain department signage, pricing and labeling.
• Rotate products per FIFO standards.
• Inspect shelves and remove expired/damaged items.
• Communicate needs to Operations Managers promptly.
• Divert waste to donations.
• Coordinate product demos with Marketing.
• Maintain safe, clean work conditions and comply with regulations.
• Perform light cleaning and packaging disposal.
• Handle payments and ensure accurate accounting of transactions.
• Review price changes.
• Perform other duties as required.

Grocery Lead (Full-Time) - Eataly Sherway Gardens

Full-time

The Grocery Lead serves as the liaison between the Grocery team members, Assistant Store Operations Manager, and Store Operations Manager to ensure that merchandise is properly stocked and displayed attractively across Eataly’s retail department. The Grocery Lead promotes exceptional guest service on the retail team, using interpersonal skills and product knowledge to drive sales and improve guest satisfaction. Reports to the Store Operations Manager.

• Stocks, rotates and faces products according to department procedure and merchandizing standards
• Collaborates with the Warehouse team to maintain proper stock levels, organizing back stock and warehouse storage effectively and efficiently
• Follows order and inventory procedures; places orders and receives deliveries, verifying order and invoice accuracy
• Assists with delegating tasks, supervising, training and motivating Grocery Associates
• Maintains accurate department signage, pricing and labelling
• Rotates products according to First In First Out (FIFO) standards
• Inspects shelves and immediately removes expired or damaged merchandise
• Communicates grocery needs, adjustments and problems to the Operations Managers promptly and efficiently
• Assesses departmental food waste with department heads and diverts waste to donations
• Partners with Marketing to coordinate product demos
• Maintains safe and clean work conditions and compliance with local regulations
• Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting and packaging disposal as necessary
• Handles payments and ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements
• Obtains and reviews information regarding price changes
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• Verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous leadership and stocking experience in a retail setting preferred

Job Requirements

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is CAD $21.00-$22.00 hourly
