Grocery Clerk - Overnight Shift - Sales/Service - Reg. PTU

Safeway Canmore is seeking motivated individuals to join our grocery team on a part-time basis, overnight shelf stocking. This role involves helping replenish shelves, unpack new deliveries, merchandise promotions, and provide outstanding customer service to the community. The individual's work will directly impact customer satisfaction, loyalty, and brand perception and will be expected to follow Company policies, training, and safe operating procedures in the day-to-day discharge of their duties. This includes maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards, monitoring temperatures of refrigerated and frozen units, and operating and being trained on powered material handling equipment (i.e., compactor, baler, forklift, stacker, power pallet truck) to unload merchandise for sales floor distribution and relieve at the front check stand area during busy customer periods. The successful candidate will find this is a team environment while at times needing to be able to work individually to accomplish a list of tasks from the lead hand or manager in charge. Successful candidates must also exemplify Company values - be customer-driven, people-powered, community-engaged, and results-oriented.
