JOB DESCRIPTION

What you’ll do:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following (and other duties as required):

1. Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service
2. Maintain a neat, clean, and well-merchandised department
3. All duties associated with inventory stocking and counts
4. Compliance with government standards and regulations applicable to the Camrose Food store
5. Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses
6. Alert for unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
7. Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meet store standards
8. Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
9. Key holder (open/close store)
10. Provide backup supervision of Grocery Clerk staff when no Managers are on shift
11. Compliance with all safety policies and procedures, ensuring safety of others
12. Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
13. This position requires the use of computers and heavy lifting of products.

Who you are:

You have previous experience in customer service, which is an asset. Candidates will demonstrate:

• Commitment to providing excellent customer service to member-owners and internal customers
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends (majority of shifts in the evening)

This position reports to the Grocery Manager - Camrose Food.

This is a part-time position based on 24-32 hrs/week, requiring availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
