Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is hiring a Grocery Clerk to deliver friendly, accurate service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Above average communication skills, both oral and written.
• May be required to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Food Safety Protocols, SOPs and Health & Safety requirements.
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock per inventory procedures.
• Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs.
• Promote featured products to increase store sales.
• Maintain back shop and retail floor cleanliness and presentation.
• Prepare customer orders as required.
• Assist in training junior staff.
