Type: Regular Full Time - $19.00 - $22.00/hr

Shifts: Complete open availability; weekends required

Position Summary

As a Grocery Clerk 4, you will assist in daily grocery department operations while providing excellent customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs, and answer questions promptly.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of grocery products and their aisle locations.
• Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and product rotation.
• Help maintain back stock levels and organize deliveries.
• Support product displays and signage on the sales floor.
• Answer phones courteously and promptly.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Attend scheduled training and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Retail or grocery experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow directions and procedures with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills.
• Conversational English; bilingual preferred.

Education, Certificates, Licenses

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Work involves handling food allergens, lifting up to 50 pounds, and constant standing/walking.
• Work in various temperatures and conditions, including wet and dry environments.
• Use of ladders, tools, and equipment required.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and machinery noise.
• Wear appropriate footwear.
