We’re looking for a dynamic Grocery Clerk who embodies awesomeness and knows how to lead by example. You bring a strong background in grocery handling, retail sales, leadership, and a passion for natural wellness to the team.

Our talented Team Leaders leverage their leadership skills, retail sales experience, and passion for natural wellness to support the Store Management Team in leading the store sales team to exceed sales goals, create excellent Community Member experiences, and represent the Healthy Planet Stores with pride.

What You Will Do

1. Maintain attractive grocery displays and support the regional grocery vision.
2. Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
3. Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
4. Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
5. Merchandise the grocery department and ensure inventory levels are maintained.
6. Assist management with ordering and inventory control.
7. Encourage sales while ensuring quality and effective customer service.
8. Work with your team and managers to plan and execute strategies to achieve sales goals.
9. Prepare sales reports and summaries.
10. Participate in training and development programs.
11. Maintain inventory of products in the health and beauty departments.
12. Follow merchandising schematics and add a personal touch for impact.

What You Will Need

1. At least 2 years of grocery supervisory experience.
2. An energetic, positive, and confident disposition with the ability to think creatively and quickly.
3. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
4. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
