Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant technical program or university degree and a minimum of three years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with horticulture production and safety practices.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule greenhouse space to maximize resource use.
• Support greenhouse and field users and assist researchers.
• Demonstrate greenhouse techniques and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate nutrient recipes, lab tests, ordering and invoicing.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and assist field operations.
• Develop and update greenhouse SOPs for staff and students.
• Maintain facilities and report hazards; coordinate infrastructure needs.
• Train new users and plan daily activities for staff and work learn students.
• Order equipment and supplies for projects and prepare invoices.
• Provide tours and assist with facility setups for projects.
