Job summary

JD Sweid Foods Ltd. is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our Langley, BC facility. You will clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and conveyors in compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and OH&S standards while supporting safe, high-quality protein production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• WHMIS and Food Safety certifications are assets.
• Forklift certification is an asset and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, containers and plant surfaces.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs and OH&S guidelines during cleaning.
• Maintain sanitation logs and comply with regulatory audits.
• Report damage or contamination risks to supervisor promptly.
• Prepare equipment for production according to schedule.
