Location: Hybrid, 2 days/week in office in Mississauga

Estimated Duration: 6+ month contract, 37.5 hrs/week (possible extension)

Hourly Rate: $35 - $40 /hr

Job Description

Our client is an international retailer, and they are looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to join their team for a 6-month contract. This position runs from June to November in a hybrid capacity, joining the team at their Mississauga office 2 days a week.

Responsibilities of Graphic Designer

• Develops brand marketing creative across multiple media and consumer touchpoints, including but not limited to; in-store signage/digital screens, print, digital, social, direct mail and video, ensuring all collateral meets brand quality standards while delivering production savings.
• Supports Corporate presentation development, including PowerPoint design and assembly.
• Monitors competitive landscape, keeping up to date on latest developments in design and creative marketing landscape
• Actively contributes to brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working as a Graphic Designer in the retail, fashion, or home decor space.
• Advanced skills in most Adobe Creative Suite CC software in a Mac environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Marketing or Communications or equivalent work experience.
• Strong portfolio with examples of consumers facing social media content as well as in-store signage or OOH
• Excellent communications skills, creative design eye, and ability to manage multiple quick turnaround projects concurrently
• Able to join the team in the office two days a week in Mississauga
