What You Will Do
  • Provide day-to-day creation and maintenance of promotional materials for marketing campaigns, including design, production and distribution.
  • Collaborate with mission platforms to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to meet team goals.
  • Understand basic budgeting and work within financial parameters of projects.
  • Maintain, update and improve Goodwill's brand standards, including signage, key messaging, tag lines, trade and logo marks.
  • Work with outside vendors and suppliers to complete marketing projects, with travel to and on-site work as needed.
  • Occasional travel to Goodwill Community Stores/ADCs to conduct branding audits and gather measurements for future installations.
  • Support development of internal and external marketing and communications initiatives (newsletters, email campaigns, annual Impact Reports, etc.).
  • Follow all safety standards set out in legislation and Goodwill policies; be actively involved in health, well-being and safety of self and team.
What We Are Looking For
  • Advanced level skill in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics such as email marketing, social media, SEO, content marketing, etc.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to translate needs into goals and priorities; capable of managing multiple projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong passion for creative design and digital marketing.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to act decisively using analysis and input from others.
  • Self-motivated with initiative in marketing strategies and plans.
  • Knowledge of design standards and accessibility considerations (AODA compliant).
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Marketing or Graphic Design (or relevant experience).
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience (portfolio preferred).
  • Experience setting marketing metrics and tracking progress.
  • Established relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance; independent travel required.
