What You Will Do

Become a Graphic Designer at InterVISTAS and work across various product areas! Join our team of thought leaders shaping the future of aviation and transportation both nationally and globally. In this role, you will be responsible for graphic design to support our large-scale proposal processes. You will develop customized templates and create graphical content for social media, websites, and marketing materials for publications and events. Additionally, you will coordinate the delivery of complex graphics, working with data provided by key internal and external partners to meet time-defined outcomes.

Your Role
  • Support the proposal development process by preparing final graphics and templates tailored to different proposal structures, ensuring alignment with RFP requirements.
  • Create and design new layouts for promotional materials, including web videos, brochures, flyers, newspaper advertisements, and campaigns.
  • Source images that would be appropriate for use in print and web marketing campaigns and obtain copyright clearances as required.
  • Scan and electronically manipulate graphic artwork using image control elements, applying cropping functions, and resizing graphics proportionately to meet design specifications.
  • Maintain corporate identity and branding by deeply understanding the company’s values, target audience, and market positioning to visually communicate these aspects effectively.
  • Develop and maintain templates using brand guidelines to ensure uniformity and create a cohesive look and feel.
  • Develop graphics, images, and multimedia content to enhance our website and social media presence, ensuring they are visually engaging and aligned with our brand.
  • Create new marketing collateral, digital media, event materials, and presentations for external media and events.
  • Utilize AI-powered tools to create graphical content, automate content generation, analyze data, and identify patterns to enhance design principles, develop layouts, and create overall designs.
  • Develop customized templates using preformatted styles, layouts, and blocks of information for our CRM system to support and enhance business development and project delivery processes.
What We Are Looking For
  • High school graduation plus 2 years of post-secondary education or formal certificate/diploma program equivalent with courses or training in desktop, graphic design, and web publishing applications, and visual communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail, with experience in preparing website and social media content, preferably in the aviation, transportation, and tourism sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and various graphic design software, including Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools such as Adobe Sensei, Canva, Copilot, and Gemini’s AI features, and other AI-driven graphic design software.
  • A solid understanding of AI, typically used in data visualization and image processes, is not a requirement but an asset.
  • Ability to use web and multimedia applications, create and maintain content for our website and social media platforms.
  • Maintain brand standards, and update marketing material.
  • A self-starter who works proactively with a willingness to learn while being committed to a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Effective time management skills with capacity to manage multiple assignments, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver results on-time, under pressure.
  • Competitive salary (CAN$55,000-$75,000 annually) depending on qualifications, with potential for a performance-based bonus. Actual compensation will be tailored to reflect the unique experience and qualifications of the chosen candidate.
  • This position will be based at the InterVISTAS’ office location in Vancouver.
  • Remote work may be negotiable, dependent on qualifications and demonstrated previous successful remote work experience.
  • Discretionary bonus based on performance.
  • Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
  • Extended Health Benefits.
  • Annual Training Funds.
