Job summary

MWD Creative in Toronto seeks a skilled Graphic Designer to transform concepts into polished visuals for luxury events and brand activations. You will collaborate with Creative, 3D Design, Production and Event teams to translate client identities into compelling assets across presentations, environmental graphics and signage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • 2–4+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in creative or experiential settings.
  • Strong typography, layout, branding, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and print production knowledge.
  • Experience creating polished presentations and client-facing materials.

Responsibilities

About This Role

The Graphic Designer will play an integral role in bringing MWD Creative's concepts and brand experiences to life through compelling visual design.

Working closely with our Creative, 3D Design, Production, and Event teams, you'll translate creative concepts and client brand identities into polished visual assets for luxury events, brand activations, pop-ups, presentations, environmental graphics, signage, and experiential installations.

We're looking for a designer with a strong visual point of view, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to take an idea from initial concept through final production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling visual concepts for experiential campaigns, luxury events, brand activations, pop-ups, and special projects.
  • Translate client brand identities into sophisticated, cohesive creative assets while maintaining brand standards.
  • Design presentation decks, mood boards, concept boards, signage, environmental graphics, invitations, digital assets, and event collateral.
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors, 3D Designers, Producers, and other team members to build cohesive experiences across physical and visual touchpoints.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork and files for print, large-format graphics, signage, installations, and other event applications.
  • Adapt creative concepts across multiple formats and dimensions while maintaining visual consistency and design integrity.
  • Support creative pitches and new business presentations with polished layouts, visual storytelling, and presentation materials.
  • Review proofs and production materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency before final execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight timelines in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Stay ahead of design, fashion, luxury, cultural, and experiential trends and bring fresh ideas and inspiration to the creative team.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within a creative agency, experiential agency, luxury, fashion, beauty, retail, hospitality, or related environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional typography, layout, branding, visual storytelling, and overall design aesthetic.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of print production, file preparation, colour, typography, and large-format applications.
  • Experience creating polished presentations, pitch decks, and client-facing creative materials.
  • Ability to work from established brand guidelines while also developing original creative concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and production teams.
Nice to Have
  • Experience within experiential marketing, events, luxury, beauty, fashion, or premium consumer brands.
  • Experience designing environmental graphics, signage, retail displays, pop-ups, or other physical brand experiences.
  • Familiarity with Keynote and presentation design.
  • Experience working alongside 3D designers or interpreting spatial/event renderings.
  • Motion graphics, video editing, or other digital design capabilities are considered an asset.
