What is the opportunity?
As a member of Family Office Services, the Graphic Designer supports content, communications and marketing initiatives across multiple channels, including digital and traditional print formats. In this role, you will design informational and marketing communications and materials (internal and external) to support key business development goals, primarily for use by Wealth Planning professionals. You will also take in project requests from colleagues, contribute throughout the production process, and collaborate on projects to completion. In addition, you will design collateral and materials to ensure they are on brand, while meeting content-specific or strategic goals.
What will you do?
Design a range of collateral in support of business initiatives (internal and external), including guides and fact sheets, articles, magazine content, brochures, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, emails, event materials, advertising, and website assets.
Design content through various platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring adherence to and application of RBC Wealth Management brand standards.
Assist with end-to-end video development, including planning, shooting/recording and editing (internal and external content).
Provide a “one-stop-shop” experience by handling various aspects involved in the creation of materials and throughout the production process. This includes consultation and collaboration with content providers and project stakeholders, creative planning and design, executing on design based on project objectives and target audience, incorporating feedback and revisions, final file preparations, and coordinating for publishing/posting.
Multi-task numerous projects while executing superior time management to ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
Develop creative solutions with minimal direction and guidance when required.
Liaise with third parties or external partners as required.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
University degree in Graphic/Digital Design or related area of study, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience as a designer, including digital.
Knowledge of overall creative production process from concept and planning to design and execution.
Very high level of proficiency with Adobe CC; proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience producing work in accordance with corporate brand standards.
Proficiency with video and audio editing software, and proven work experience with video editing.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and meet deadlines; a critical thinker who is well-organized, detail oriented, and able to manage revisions and workflow with minimal errors.
Team player with demonstrated track record of working collaboratively with project teams and business partners, providing a high level of service.

Working knowledge of AODA/WCAG requirements
Some proficiency in French
