Qualifications

Job description

Are you a visual storyteller with a passion for bringing ideas to life through thoughtful, brand-aligned design? At StarTech.com, we’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Content Marketing team and play a key role in how our products and brand are experienced around the world.

In this role, you’ll design a wide range of visual content including product packaging, digital assets, and enhanced visuals for new product launches. You’ll also contribute to internal and external communications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, supportive, and innovative environment.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop product labels and packaging aligned with brand and compliance standards using automated design systems.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to ensure product packaging supports function and customer expectations
  • Create enhanced visuals for New Product Innovations (NPIs), with a focus on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Galleries
  • Develop creative content for marketing campaigns including digital ads, collateral, signage, and presentations
  • Produce design assets to support the Customer Success team and other internal functions
  • Design internal communication materials such as newsletters, town hall presentations, and SharePoint content
  • Maintain clear documentation of design files and workflows to support cross-functional efficiency
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, and bring forward ideas for continuous improvement
  • Participate in feedback loops and design reviews to refine creative based on input from stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3 years of graphic design experience in packaging, digital, or multimedia environments
  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related discipline
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong skills in layout, typography, color theory, and production processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience creating visuals for Amazon galleries or other e-commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with Figma and SharePoint publishing
  • Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics
  • Experience using project management tools like Asana
  • UX knowledge and/or technical understanding of IT products is an asset
