Work Location Information: 830 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, ON L5E 1E1
Urban area.

Salary: $34.07 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per Week

Terms of Employment: Term or contract – Full time

Tasks

1. Supervise other graphic designers or graphic arts technicians
2. Adapt existing illustrations
3. Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products and television advertising and productions
4. Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
5. Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations
6. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
7. Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials
8. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
9. Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients’ objectives
10. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements

Employment Requirements

• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
• Must speak English
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
